New Types of Crime and Ways to Protect

Recent crime statistics indicate increases in retail theft, home invasions, women assaulted, purse snatchings, car thefts and bank robberies. Victims have usually been the elderly and youth. Many of the newest target victims are employees of retail stores, groceries, food pantries, clothing stores, food suppliers, and banks. The damages done to people and their belongings are staggering, and have a trickling affect in insurances rates.

Workforce Statistics says “…62% of Police Forces nationwide let officers go due to the economy, resulting in less protection for the public”.
